Calls for Entry
Call for Entry: Thaw
Creative Flow Art Center would like to invite artists of all disciplines and experience levels to submit work for Thaw, an exhibition exploring the moment when what has been held or frozen begins to move again.
Thaw speaks to transition: the gradual softening of what has been frozen physically, emotionally, culturally, or environmentally. It is the shift from dormancy to flow, from holding to letting go. This exhibition considers thaw as an act of change rather than collapse: a time when life resumes, feelings re-emerge, and possibility reenters the frame.
Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly. Submissions may explore:
- Seasonal change, ice, and frost
- Emotional or psychological unfreezing
- Recovery, healing, or reconnection
- Memory, time, and transformation
- States of pause, preservation, and release
Works may be literal or metaphorical, subtle or expressive.
Thaw seeks work that reflects emergence, vulnerability, and change. Moments when something begins to move again.
This show is on display at Creative Flow Art Center from April 18th through May 30th with an opening reception on April 23rd 6pm to 8pm.
