Grand Opening of Creative Flow Art Center! Join us to celebrate the revitalization of arts in the Fridley community.
Friday 5-8pm is a semi-formal night celebrating the gallery show opening of artists “Four Points of Light”. Enjoy art, food, drinks, community, and artist talks at 7pm.
Saturday 11am-3pm is a family day filled with free art activities like creating a canvas bag and adding to our Grand Opening mural! Enjoy art demonstrations, gallery show, food & drink, and raku pottery. To participate in raku pottery see schedule below. 🙂
- 11am – Opening Raku Pottery pull. This will be staff and student work. Come see the process and participate in the next pulls!
- 12:30 – First Community Raku Pottery pull. Purchase and glaze a pre-thrown piece by 11:30 to pull your piece at this time!
- 2:00 – Second Community Raku Pottery pull. Purchase and glaze a pre-thrown piece by 1pm to pull your piece at this time.
- Pre-thrown pieces will be available for purchase for a $30 fee – cash or card 🙂 Check out a quick video below of a raku pull at RRAC.
